Job Description

Job purpose:

  • Effectively manage the reporting, strategy, capital planning, budgeting and forecasting process of the Business Unit
  • Consolidate commercial outputs received from the Operating Units, as well as be the central touchpoint between group and the business unit with regards to commercial reporting
  • Consolidate, analyse and give more commercial insights to the financial performance of the Business Unit
  • Coordinate and consolidate the Business Unit strategy process and any strategic business projects
  • Prepare the consolidated annual Business Plans, Quarterly Forecasts, 5 year business plans and report on the performance against it on a monthly basis
  • Implement and Drive group initiatives, policies and procedures where required with the operating units

Minimum requirements:

  • BCom & Qualified CA(SA) OR CIMA (non-negotiable)
  • Experience working in a cross functional manufacturing business
  • Minimum of 10 years experience, including commercial costing, operational financial support and reporting and strategic management processes
  • Experience within FMCG / Manufacturing preferred d
  • Syspro experience would be an advantage
