The Commercial Manager NIN & Health Science is responsible for driving the Category Sales Development agenda for the Nutrition and Health Science portfolio, delivering sustainable sales growth across distributors and channels.   • Drive the commercial strategy for the Nutrition and Health Science portfolio, including pricing, volume planning, product portfolio management, trade promotions, and channel development.
  • Lead shopper insight initiatives and leverage consumer and market intelligence to develop integrated commercial plans.
  • Develop a deep understanding of shopper behavior, customer needs, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Create and execute category strategies that maximize profitability, improve shopper experiences, and strengthen category performance.
  • Partner with Business Development, Sales, and Marketing teams to build compelling customer-facing strategies and support joint business planning.
  • Lead the Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) and Monthly Business Planning (MBP) processes, ensuring cross-functional alignment and execution excellence.
  • Develop annual category activation plans, promotional guidelines, channel investment strategies, and sales-support toolkits.
  • Coordinate and evaluate trade promotions and commercial activities to ensure effective execution and achievement of sales targets.
  • Work closely with distributor and field sales teams to ensure timely communication and flawless implementation of category plans.
  • Monitor category performance, sales results, market share, and promotional effectiveness, recommending corrective actions where needed.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Demand Planning, Logistics, Supply Planning, Procurement, and Distributor partners to maximize business performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, SHE standards, and WHO Code regulations.
  • Support training and awareness initiatives to ensure relevant stakeholders understand and comply with WHO Code requirements.

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences or a related field. A Master's degree in Management Studies is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 8 years of business experience, including at least 5 years in a similar commercial role.
  • Previous experience in Sales and Marketing with a proven record of success in customer-facing roles.
  • Strong understanding of category management, channel development, shopper insights, commercial planning, and sales execution.
  • Ability to drive sustainable profitable growth, establish winning sales strategies, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a demonstrated ability to manage results through others, coach teams, and foster collaboration.
