Job Description

Do you enjoy turning complex market data into sharp commercial priorities? Are you motivated by guiding sales teams toward the opportunities that truly move the needle? This is your chance to shape where and how we grow in the B2B2C MDU new build market — and directly influence ROI at scale.

This job ad is for you who have:

  • Experience driving commercial prioritization, territory planning or sales operations in preferably telecom, utilities, real estate or infrastructure, however we are open for other background as well
  • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex and unstructured data into clear commercial recommendations aimed at supporting and challenging sales teams with valuable insights
  • A genuine belief that the best decisions are made using data and building ROI business cases.
  • Solid stakeholder management skills across sales, marketing, finance and network planning
  • Fluency in Danish and English (written and spoken) and a relevant higher education degree in business, economics, analytics, engineering or similar

About the role and the team

As our Commercial Manager – New Build Strategy, you will own the commercial logic behind where we invest time, capital and sales effort in the Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) and new build market. In GlobalConnect, the focus is on MDU market predominantly targeting multi story buildings, housing associations, apartment blocks etc.

You will act as a strategic partner in Sales, reporting to the Sales Director, advising on which developers, projects and geographies to prioritize based on ROI potential, build feasibility and long-term value. Your work ensures that we focus our resources where they create the highest commercial return.

You will be part of the Danish Sales team of seven dedicated employees, working closely with Commercial portfolio management, Network Planning, Finance, Marketing and Delivery. Together, we identify, assess and convert new build opportunities — from early-stage project identification to sales activation.

This is not a traditional sales-support role. It is a high-impact commercial role where insight, structure and business acumen drive performance.

Key Responsibilities and what you will do during a typical week:

  • Identify and evaluate new MDU build opportunities by analyzing developer pipelines, building permits, municipal plans and market data
  • Develop prioritization models that guide sales on where to allocate time and resources for maximum ROI
  • Translate data into actionable target lists, playbooks and clear commercial recommendations for the sales team
  • Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates and capital allocation efficiency — and proactively recommend course corrections

Who we are looking for

In a nutshell, we are looking for a commercially sharp and analytically strong profile who thrives at the intersection of data and decision-making.

You are structured and fact-based, yet pragmatic. You are comfortable challenging assumptions and guiding sales leaders with clear recommendations. You understand that not all opportunities are equal — and you know how to separate attractive projects from distractions.

You likely have 3–7 years of experience in commercial strategy, sales operations, business development or territory management within a data-driven organization. Experience from telecom, infrastructure, real estate development or utilities is a strong advantage.

Most importantly, you are motivated by impact — by seeing your prioritization translate directly into smarter investments and stronger growth.

Does this sound like you? If so, we would love to hear from you
