Älmhult is where IKEA began, and where we continue to challenge ourselves to find better ways forward.
People from all over the world come here to work, live, visit and experience the destination Älmhult and IKEA. It is a place where ideas become reality, where different perspectives meet and where we work together to create experiences that matter to co-workers, guests and the many people.
At IKEA Älmhult AB, around 270 co-workers develop and operate IKEA Museum, IKEA Hotell, restaurants, meeting places and experiences that make Älmhult a destination in its own right. As we continue to grow and develop, we are looking for people who want to be part of the journey.
And this is where you come in.
And this is where you come in.
IKEA Älmhult AB is entering a new chapter. As we continue to develop Älmhult as a destination, we see great opportunities to attract more visitors, create memorable experiences and strengthen our businesses. To support this journey, we are building a new commercial function. We are looking for a Commercial Manager who wants to help shape how we work with commercial growth across IKEA Älmhult AB in the future.
As Commercial Manager, you will be part of the Hospitality & Hotel Leadership Team and lead the development of a more connected and proactive commercial approach across our businesses.
Our businesses offer a unique mix of hospitality, food, culture and experiences, including IKEA Hotell, IKEA Museum, Museum of Furniture Studies, Aktivitetshuset, Bölsö, restaurants, meetings and events. Each business brings valuable opportunities and ideas. Your role will be to bring them together around shared commercial priorities, helping the organisation make clear choices and create greater impact together.
This is a unique opportunity to build something that has not existed before. You will play a key role in shaping how IKEA Älmhult AB works across businesses, customer experiences and shared priorities in the future. Working across multiple businesses, stakeholders and customer experiences, you will help create greater focus, clearer priorities and a more coordinated approach across the organisation.
Bringing together different parts of the business around a shared agenda, balancing short-term opportunities with long-term growth, and helping the organisation make clear choices about where to focus its efforts will be at the heart of your role.
Success in this role will be measured not only by business performance, but by your ability to create direction, build commercial capabilities and establish ways of working that support future growth.
We're looking for a leader who enjoys building something new, bringing people together and creating direction in a complex environment.
You understand how commercial growth is created through customer insight, collaboration and clear priorities. You are comfortable navigating different perspectives, balancing short-term needs with long-term ambitions and helping others move towards a common goal.
This role will suit someone who is energised by change, enjoys developing people and sees opportunities where others see complexity.
This is an opportunity to help shape the future of one of IKEA's most unique destinations.
As Commercial Manager, you will help bring people, businesses and ambitions together around a shared commercial direction. Working across hospitality, culture, food and experiences, you will play a key role in strengthening how IKEA Älmhult AB attracts visitors, creates memorable experiences and supports long-term growth.
If you are motivated by creating clarity, building strong teams and turning potential into results, this is an opportunity to make a real difference.
We recruit based on values, competence, potential and diversity, and we welcome applications from people with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.
Please submit your application no later than 15 November. Apply with your CV only – there is no need to submit a cover letter. Instead, you will have the opportunity to tell us more about your experience through the screening questions in the application system. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as interviews may begin before the application deadline.
As we continue to support co-workers through organisational change, internal candidates may be considered alongside external applicants throughout the process. At the same time, we are excited to welcome new perspectives and experiences and look forward to hearing from candidates both within and outside IKEA.
