Job Description

You're looking to contribute to the transformation of the transport sector towards a greener and more sustainable future. You want to actively participate in shaping policies and initiatives that reduce carbon emissions, promote renewable energy adoption, and enhance the overall environmental performance of the transport network.



In this role, you'll:


You’ll develop and maintain commercial strategies for the energy category, support project teams with procurement and commercial matters, prepare contract and supplier relationship plans, and negotiate key contract changes.
Joining a high performing team, you’ll drive category direction and initiatives across electricity, bulk fuels and clean energy infrastructure projects, while strengthening data analytics, leading sourcing activities and uplifting commercial capability across the organisation.

This permanent position is located at the Elizabeth Street office in Sydney CBD. The role is governed by our hybrid working model, which forms part of the organisation’s Flexible Working Arrangements and associated procedures.

About you


• You’re skilled at shaping category strategies, guiding go-to-market activities, and communicating complex commercial and energy concepts with clarity

• You have energy subject matter expertise, strong commercial acumen and you’re a good communicator

• You have experience managing end to end procurement processes, developing category initiatives, negotiating contract changes and driving continuous improvement in operations

• Knowledge and understanding of the energy industry as it relates to procurement and commercial activities

• Demonstrated experience in project management, category management and procurement activities

• Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering energy-related initiatives or projects
