Your opportunity:

This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the commercial engine underpinning our Enterprise and Government sales business. As Commercial Manager – Commissions, Segmentation and Sales Operations, you’ll own the end-to-end framework that drives how we incentivise, segment and manage sales performance at scale.

Working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations and Product, you’ll design and deliver commission structures, lead segmentation and governance, and drive a high-quality sales reporting cadence. Your work will directly influence revenue outcomes, sales performance and strategic decision-making, ensuring our operating model is aligned, controlled and built for growth.

You'll make impact by:

Commissions Ownership and Governance

  • Own the end to end commissions framework across all channels
  • Lead annual design of commission structures and targets aligned to business strategy
  • Ensure accurate execution including calculators, clawbacks, target management and payouts
  • Run commission governance forums and maintain full auditability and control
  • Ensure commission structures drive the right sales behaviours and align to business priorities

Segmentation and Channel Control

  • Define and enforce segmentation and channel ownership rules across the business
  • Lead monthly governance forums covering account ownership, transfers and new logo allocation
  • Provide commercial decisioning on complex ownership, transfer and channel conflicts
  • Maintain clear and scalable rules that support growth without creating conflict or inefficiency

Sales Operations and Reporting Cadence

  • Own weekly sales cadence across reporting, insights and leadership updates
  • Ensure high quality, consistent reporting across Salesforce, Excel and executive materials
  • Drive improvements in data quality, pipeline visibility and reporting controls

Planning, Targets and Incentive Alignment

  • Lead annual commissions planning including performance reviews and target setting
  • Drive cross functional alignment through structured workshops and stakeholder engagement
  • Present recommendations to senior leadership and secure approval
  • Own translation of approved plans into execution, including target communication

What you’ll bring:

  • Deep experience in commissions, incentives or sales operations frameworks with ownership of end-to-end design and execution
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with ability to assess revenue, margin and behavioural impacts
  • Strong stakeholder management with ability to influence and challenge at senior levels
  • Experience in telecom or enterprise B2B environments preferred
  • 7+ years commercial, finance or pricing experience; CPA, CA or CIMA preferred
