UGL is delivering some of Australia’s most complex and high-profile Data Centre projects in Melbourne, with a strong and growing pipeline of opportunities across the region.

We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function on a major project—driving financial performance, strengthening governance, and influencing key decisions at the highest level.

The Opportunity

This is a key leadership role where you will:

  • Lead all commercial and financial outcomes on a major Data Centre project
  • Drive margin, cashflow and commercial performance
  • Provide strategic commercial guidance to senior project stakeholders
  • Manage complex contracts, claims and commercial risk
  • Build strong relationships in a high-profile, fast-paced environment
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers and commercial teams

  • Extensive experience in building services projects or major construction
  • Strong capability across commercial strategy, contracts and financial governance
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders in complex, high-value projects
  • Commercially astute, outcomes-focused and confident leading teams
