The Role:

Reporting to the GM Commercial – WA & SEN Teams the Commercial Manager role is responsible for driving commercial revenue, expanding partnerships, and maximising value across SEN’s multi-platform ecosystem. This role will play a critical part in achieving SEN’s mission of connecting brands with passionate sports fans and delivering high-impact partnerships across broadcast, digital, events & live sport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth
  • Develop & execute commercial strategies aligned with SEN & SEG’s broader business objectives.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities across radio & TV broadcast, sponsorship, events, digital platforms & branded content
  • Utilise SEN’s expansive reach (radio, TV, digital, in-stadium, events, sports teams) to create compelling offerings for brands.
  • Partnership Acquisition & Management
  • Prospect, pitch & secure new commercial partners across diverse categories
  • Manage end-end partner relationships ensuring deliver across SEN’s ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with internal teams – partnerships, production, digital, talent – to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Measure & report through our CRM on performance
  • Pipeline & Prospecting
  • Develop & maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads through proactive outreach, networking and market research
  • Identify & pursue new business opportunities across key categories & emerging sectors.

Skills & Experience required

  • 5+ years in commercial, partnerships or business development roles (sports, media or entertainment preferred)
  • Proven success securing new business and managing commercial partnerships
  • Strong negotiation, communication & presentation skills
  • Strong financial acumen and data-driven decision making
  • Experience in multi-platform media environments (radio, TV, digital, events)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple clients & projects
