Job Description

 Loan Security Valuation Surveyor – Senior / AD / Director level – £57,500 – 77,500 plus approx. £250-£450 approx. car allowance, plus annual bonus depending on individual and company performance.

Latymer Search is proud to be representing a reputable and well-established Chartered Surveying practice located in Maidenhead covering London, home counties and the south coast.

Established in circa thirty years ago, they are known as a quality professional firm with a competent team made up of around 22 professionals with around 12 being in the valuation department.

The position will be geared around Valuation work, solely loan security work approx. 70% commercial and then development and residential - most of the work is around the 2-5 million value range. If there are any gaps in your skill set they are able to cater and provide training and support where as needed.

Of their eight offices, their main office is located in Maidenhead, Kent; being in office is not a requirement, they are quite happy for you to come in once every couple of weeks or so in general.

They are hiring Surveyors located in London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex and the South Coast. Area of coverage will be approx. up to one hour away but there may be instances where you have to travel further afield, they will be happy to discuss this with you depending on your particular base location.

Little in the way of micromanagement, they knows people work in different ways and want different things from their careers. No business development requirements as such apart from any natural day to day but no specific targets.

Their current MD started as a trainee and has worked his way up, same for many others in the firm - have a very stable team, they try to promote internally as much as possible - They have advised that it is a company where people can progress and go onto be partners of the business.

Requirements

• MRICS / FRICS and Registered Valuer certification
• Commercial valuation experience
