Job Description
Summary: Under moderate supervision and following standard procedures with some independent judgement, compiles data, performs routine tasks, reviews documentation and facilitates modifications, and processes policy changes to support the underwriting process by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Enters new business applications, policy changes and renewal changes into the system.
2. Reviews and approves endorsement requests and renewals within authority level.
3. Routes risk-involved matters that are beyond assigned authority to underwriter for evaluation.
4. Prepares requisitions for and reviews information reports including credit, motor vehicle reports, inspection and loss control reports, and other insured information.
5. Communicates with underwriters, agencies, and vendors to obtain additional information regarding certain transactions and to answer agents’ questions.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
