Job Description

The Commercial Lines Account Processor works to maintain a high level of customer service while assisting Account Manager(s) in servicing and retaining new and established accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Establishes, maintains a professional, positive, and team-oriented relationship with colleagues across the company.
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures for workflow and documentation.
  • Maintains a professional connection between the Account Manager(s) and within the agency.
  • Pulls declaration pages to process all workloads, compare and make detailed notes in policy downloads.
  • Review and process renewal and new business downloads using personnel and procedures in place for support.
  • Reviews policy change downloads and confirms policy changes have been completed as requested to the carrier.
  • Maintain and work the download suspense list daily.
  • Communicate with the Account Manager(s) regarding policies or any concerns on the account.
  • Responds to daily telephone calls and/or emails regarding policies.
  • Keep records of activity documenting file within Epic with details for follow up.
  • Assist Account Managers with tasks such as issuing ID cards, sending binders, processing, I&V, Loss Runs, documentation for cancellations, processing mortgagee changes, etc.
  • Meet or exceed expectations of job responsibilities.
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • No experience required
  • State P&C License (or ability to be licensed within 6 months)
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivated
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Positive, friendly, and professional attitude
