$55k + depending on Experience

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Technical Service Representative to support our Commercial Lines Insurance division. This role is responsible for providing technical and administrative support to underwriters, agents, and clients, ensuring efficient processing of policies, endorsements, renewals, and other service-related tasks. The ideal candidate has experience in commercial lines insurance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist underwriters and agents with the preparation, review, and processing of insurance policies, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.

• Review and verify policy documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain accurate records of policy transactions and correspondence in company systems.
• Respond to inquiries from agents, brokers, and insured clients regarding policy coverage, billing, and endorsements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders regarding policy and underwriting requirements.
• Assist in the review and analysis of policy submissions to ensure adherence to company guidelines and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with various departments, including underwriting, claims, and accounting, to facilitate smooth policy servicing.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing efficiency within the department.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, preferably in a service or underwriting support role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and industry regulations.
• Proficiency in insurance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Customer service mindset with the ability to effectively handle inquiries and resolve issues.

Education & Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Post Secondary and asset
• Insurance certifications RIBO
