Job Location Business Banking - Chadds Ford, PA 19317 Position Type Full Time Education Level 4 Year Degree Salary Range $65,329.00 - $97,989.00 Salary

  • Interviews potential new and current business members to determine the members’ business lending needs and works to meet those needs consistent with credit union products, policies and processes. Presents a suitable loan structure; assists other lending and branch staff with loan documentation/agreements; works with the Credit and Loan Review Committee on pricing, risk assessment and transaction structure; cross sells other FMFCU products as appropriate; introduces internal resources to expand/strengthen the member relationship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engages current or potential new business members sourced through various channels (branch referrals, brokers, existing), and assesses the commercial lending needs of the member. Provides options that meet the needs of the party, and guidance, which may include highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of the available products.
  • Coordinates the loan application process in person, via telephone, or online to ensure completeness and accuracy of information, and acts as the main point of contact for the member during the entire loan process.
  • Collects and performs sounds analysis of information pertaining to the party’s revenue, assets, investments, and/or debts and conducts preliminary reviews of the data. Provides recommendations for review by appropriate personnel.
  • Ensures that lending procedures are followed. Interprets policies and procedures, loan contracts, credit reports and loan documents. Provides complete and accurate formal documentation of approval and rejection to applicants.
  • Negotiates the FMFCU offered term sheet with the member or potential member, subject to approval by the proper authority.
  • Coordinates loan documentation with various parties including title companies, attorneys, and appraisers and/or loan document processors.
  • Collaborates with commercial lending administration on gathering financial and credit information for periodic loan reviews and assists in collection and recovery efforts as needed.
  • Identifies opportunities to cross sell products and services that meet the members’ needs, and provides referrals to appropriate resources in order to drive additional production and revenue.
  • Provides input to the Credit and Loan Review Committee on potential new products and industry trends.
  • Decisions member business loans within individual limits, $25,000 unsecured and $250,000 secured (aggregate). Above those amounts, recommends applications to appropriate level of authority up to, and including, the credit and loan review committee for review
  • Is responsible for adhering to operational controls, including compliance with all required regulations and policies such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to ensure the safety and soundness of the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union and its members.



Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance plus 3-5 years of commercial loan business development and production or, equivalent experience.
