Job Description

An international organisation operating within a regulated environment is looking for an experienced Commercial Legal Counsel to support a broad range of legal and commercial matters across multiple jurisdictions. The role combines strategic legal advisory, contract negotiation, regulatory coordination, and operational legal support within a fast-paced international business environment.

You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, providing commercially focused legal guidance while supporting business growth, partnerships, and international operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advise the business on a broad range of legal matters including corporate law, commercial agreements, partnerships, international ventures, labour law, and corporate finance

• Provide practical and commercially focused legal guidance to management and internal stakeholders

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements including supplier agreements, PSP agreements, licensing agreements, NDAs, and marketing contracts

• Support intellectual property, licensing, and brand protection matters

• Coordinate with external legal counsel on jurisdiction-specific legal matters including litigation, enforcement, and licensing activities

• Contribute to the development, implementation, and improvement of internal legal policies and procedures

• Support corporate transactions, strategic partnerships, and M&A-related activities

• Assist with legal risk assessment and mitigation across operational and commercial initiatives

• Deliver legal guidance and training to internal stakeholders and business teams

• Collaborate closely with operational, finance, compliance, and executive teams on strategic legal projects

REQUIREMENTS:

• Law degree (LLB required, LLM considered an advantage)

• Qualification as an Attorney / Lawyer admitted to the Bar in the country of origin

• Minimum 4 years of relevant legal experience

• Previous in-house Legal Counsel experience is mandatory

• Strong experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation

• Solid understanding of corporate law and commercial legal procedures

• Experience within regulated industries is considered an advantage

• Previous iGaming, licensing, or international commercial experience is highly desirable

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail

• Commercial mindset with ability to balance legal risk and business objectives

• Ability to work independently within a fast-paced international environment
