Asa Commercial Legal Counsel your tasks will include:

• Strategic legal advice on commercial transactions and compliance with applicable commercial laws and industry regulations.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating all types of national and international commercial agreements.
• Managing pre-litigation matters in commercial law, including legal correspondence and settlement agreements.
• Coordinating and supervising external specialized law firms, and supporting in potential lawsuits.
• Supporting corporate governance and internal approval processes, supporting the company’s compliance management system.
• Supporting commercial contract lifecycle management processes as well as creating and maintaining standard contract templates.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ post-qualification experience as a Commercial Legal Counsel in-house or as a Commercial Lawyer at a leading corporate law firm
• Strong track record of advising on commercial transactions, with the ability to deliver clear, pragmatic, and business-oriented legal solutions in fast-paced environments
• Deep expertise in German civil and commercial contract law, with excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Broad experience across commercial agreements and corporate governance matters
• Confident in navigating regulatory frameworks and ensuring compliance across business operations
• Business-fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus
