We are hiring a Commercial Legal Counsel to join our Client Affairs team. Our Legal team is a key business partner to the commercial organization, working closely with our Sales, Customer Success, and senior management teams

We cover every legal aspect of the client relationship - negotiating the initial agreement, supporting expansion into new brands and markets, handling amendments and renewals, and answering the day-to-day questions that come from the business as deals progress. We enable the business to grow while protecting Global-e's interests and upholding the standards expected of a public company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of international commercial agreements, primarily client facing agreements, including master services agreement, related amendments and addendums.
• Serve as the primary legal point of contact for Sales and Customer Success on all client-related legal matters with a primary focus on the US market, providing ongoing advice and support across the deal and renewal cycle, balancing deal velocity with risk management.
• Advise on and negotiate data protection and privacy clauses, including Data sharing agreements, as part of client agreements.
• Support contract management and contribute to the development and improvement of legal operations and processes and collaborate with Finance, Product and Compliance teams on client-related cross-functional matters.
• Support regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to client agreements across relevant jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Qualified attorney in Israel with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience, either as in-house counsel at a technology or e-commerce company or at a leading law firm.
• Strong experience in international commercial law, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating client facing commercial agreements.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and risk assessment skills, with a practical approach.
• Experience supporting Sales and Customer Success organizations in a fast-paced, high-volume deal environment, with a strong commercial orientation and the ability to balance deal velocity with risk.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams, with strong organizational and prioritization skills, sound judgment and a practical, solution-oriented approach to legal issues.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) - a must.
