Join our team as Commercial Leader, Microbiology division at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll guide and develop commercial teams to drive strategic growth across our innovative portfolio. You'll be responsible for implementing effective sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, and expanding market share while building strong customer relationships. This will be in alignment with divisional and company wide growth objectives. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll leverage our industry-leading technologies and solutions to enable customers make breakthrough discoveries and improve lives globally.

As a commercial leader, you'll develop and execute strategic sales plans, support and coach sales professionals, and collaborate across divisions to deliver exceptional customer value. You'll drive business growth through market analysis, pipeline management, and cross-functional partnerships while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and customer focus.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Tertiary Education, life sciences or related disciplines. MBA desirable
  • Sales experience including minimum 2-3 years in sales management role including demonstrated success in consistently achieving/exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth

Previous experience:

  • Proven Industry Expertise: Demonstrated success in the relevant scientific sectors, combining deep market insight with strong business acumen to translate emerging trends into actionable commercial strategies.
  • Strategic Growth Leadership: Established track record of driving sustainable business growth through effective sales leadership and portfolio strategy execution, delivering measurable impact on revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • People and Performance Leadership: Experienced in leading, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams. Recognized for building capability, fostering engagement, and driving accountability to deliver exceptional results.
  • Performance-Driven Mindset: History of thriving within fast-paced, high-intensity environments that demand operational excellence, strategic focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Global and Matrix Experience (Preferred): Success working within complex, decentralized, and matrixed organizations, navigating cross-functional dynamics to achieve strategic alignment and execution.
  • Broad Commercial Perspective (Preferred): Experience gained across multiple companies or business environments, contributing to a well-rounded understanding of diverse markets, customer needs, and operating models.
