As a Commercial Leader at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will increase revenue by developing and managing Channel and strategic customer relationships across our diverse portfolio of scientific products and solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor to the Channels and Customers, using your scientific expertise and consultative sales approach to help them advance critical research, development, and manufacturing initiatives. You will collaborate with technical specialists, product managers, and support teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
Education & Industry Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or a related scientific field, with 8–10 years of B2B sales and channel management experience in analytical instruments, preferably Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry.
Commercial Leadership & Sales Excellence
Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets, growing strategic accounts, and managing complex sales cycles for capital equipment and solutions in scientific or regulated environments.
Customer Engagement & Business Development
Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Technical & Operational Competence
Solid understanding of scientific applications, workflows, and analytical technologies, with experience using CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) for pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
Collaboration & Personal Attributes
Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions; willing to travel up to 50%, and committed to Thermo Fisher values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
