Job Description

About the Role

At Uber, we are determined to become a zero-emissions, zero-waste platform. We have already committed to becoming a net zero carbon business by 2040. By 2030, we will achieve zero emissions in all major U.S., Canadian, and European cities, and 100% of Uber Eats orders will be delivered using reusable, recyclable, or compostable packaging options globally. More detail on our commitments and plan can be found here.

We are building a scaled charging business for earners on the Uber platform that supports our drivers while advancing our sustainability goals. This role is a unique opportunity to lead commercial CPO activities across EMEA, with direct responsibility for the health, performance, and growth of strategic charging partner relationships across multiple countries and geographies.

You will own the operating rhythm with key CPOs across the region, ensuring Uber is driving strong commercial outcomes, reliable execution, and a high-quality driver experience as we launch, expand, and scale. You will partner closely with regional and local teams across operations, product, analytics, finance, legal, and business development to manage partner performance end to end and to turn strategy into repeatable execution.

What You Will Do

  • Own the day-to-day and strategic commercial activities, including business development and account management, for a portfolio of key CPO partners across EMEA
  • Own end-to-end commercial pipeline, including driving ongoing commercial negotiations and decisions with partners, including pricing, promotions, volume commitments and new site builds, and other strategic terms,
  • Monitor partner performance, utilization, and business health, and use data to identify risks and opportunities early
  • Build and run the operating cadence with CPOs, including QBRs, executive check-ins, SLA governance, escalation management, and commitment tracking
  • Support the launch and scale of charging partnerships across multiple EMEA countries and geographies
  • Coordinate resolution of complex partner issues across commercial, product, technical, operational, billing, and customer-experience workstreams
  • Partner with local operations and support teams to ensure launch readiness, stable day-to-day execution, and strong driver support
  • Translate market and partner feedback into clear priorities for product, process, and partner strategy
  • Prepare executive-ready updates, business reviews, and recommendations on partner strategy and performance
  • Build trusted relationships with senior counterparts at partner companies and internally across Uber
  • Help shape repeatable account-management processes that can scale as the business grows

Basic Qualifications

  • Min 8 years of experience in partnerships, account management, business development, operations, or a related commercial role
  • Experience in EV charging preferred, particularly within mobility, energy, marketplace, or platform ecosystems, with familiarity in CPO and eMSP operating models.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a pipeline of existing and new strategic external partners and driving business outcomes through influence, structure, and follow-through
  • Strong judgment and comfort working through commercial contracting processes, including pricing, various commitments, performance metrics, and issue resolution
  • Excellent communication and relationship-management skills, including confidence working with senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to guide decisions and flag risks
  • Proven ability to operate cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment
  • High-integrity, low-ego team player with a bias toward action and accountability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading partner QBRs, SLA management, or commercial governance
  • Experience with multi-country or multi-region account management
  • Comfort working on scaling processes in a high-growth environment

About Uber

We are Uber. The go-getters. The kind of people who are relentless about our mission to help people go anywhere and get anything and earn their way. Movement is what we power. It’s our lifeblood. It runs through our veins. It’s what gets us out of bed each morning. It pushes us to constantly reimagine how we can move better. For you. For all the places you want to go. For all the things you want to get. For all the ways you want to earn. Across the entire world. In real time. At the incredible speed of now.

The idea for Uber was born on a snowy night in Paris in 2008, and ever since then our DNA of reimagination and reinvention carries on. We’ve grown into a global platform powering flexible earnings and the movement of people and things in ever expanding ways. We’ve gone from connecting rides on 4 wheels to 2 wheels to 18-wheel freight deliveries. From takeout meals to daily essentials to prescription drugs to just about anything you need at any time and earning your way. From drivers with background checks to real-time verification, safety is a top priority every single day. At Uber, the pursuit of reimagination is never finished, never stops, and is always just beginning.
