This is a pivotal leadership role within ourUKSpecialty Business Unit, responsible for delivering launch excellence, commercial performance, and cross-functional alignment in a complex and evolving treatment landscape.

In this role you will

  • Own theend-to-endUK launch strategy, translating brandobjectivesinto a detailed, integratedoperationalplan,and driving go/no go decisions.

  • Drive crossfunctionaland above country alignment (Medical, Sales, Health Outcomes, Market Access, Regulatory, Supply) to ensure coordinated execution.

  • Establish,monitorand report launch KPIs and readiness metrics;leadregular performance reviews and deliver iterativeoptimisation

  • Leverage market insights, real worldevidenceand field feedback to continuouslyoptimisetactics and convert learnings into action.

  • Recruit, develop and lead ahighperforming commercial team, embedding accountability,coachingand collaborative ways of working.

  • Lead and shape the evolving post launch UK brand roadmap,anticipatingmarket shifts andleveragingclinical and RWE tomaximisesustained patient access.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals withtheserequired skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in life sciences, marketing,businessorrelatedfield

  • Extensivecommercial experience in pharma/biotech with demonstrable ownership ofcommercial launch strategy and delivery(including omnichannel/digital marketing, CRMplatformsand field enablement tools)

  • Proven experience coordinatingcross functionalteams (Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Supply, Sales) to deliver launch plans

  • Track recordofpeopleleadership: hiring,coachingand managing performance within commercial teams

  • Strong stakeholder management andinfluencing, withexcellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects in afastpaced, matrixed environment


Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:

  • Prior launch leadershipexperiencefor a specialty product in the UK (preferably hepatology or virology).

  • Multi country / above country launch experience with proven ability to partner effectively with regional and global brand teams.

  • Proven success engaging payers, KOLs and NHS decision makers, with strong influencing and negotiation skills.

  • Experience navigating the UK market access environment (NICE/HTA, commissioning routes), engaging clinical/NHS stakeholders, and working within ABPI requirements.

  • Strong capability using market insights,analyticsandreal-worldevidence (RWE/HEOR) to inform commercial strategy.

  • Ability to translate clinical and HEOR evidence into clear commercial value propositions and stakeholder facing materials.
