Commercial Insurance Account Coordinator

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Insurance Support Specialist with strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience to join their growing team. This role focuses on supporting new and existing commercial insurance clients, processing policy updates, preparing certificates of insurance, and assisting with endorsements and recommendations.

The ideal candidate will understand US commercial insurance terminology and workflows and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment aligned to full-time US business hours.

Working Hours


  • Full-time
  • 3pm -11pm SA Time

  • Remote position

Key Responsibilities

Client & Policy Support


  • Assist new clients by presenting insurance coverage options and policy information.

  • Support clients with policy-related inquiries and updates.

  • Communicate professionally with clients, lenders, brokers, and internal teams.

Certificates of Insurance (COI)


  • Generate and issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs).

  • Pull policy and client information from AMS360.

  • Ensure certificates are accurate and compliant with policy terms.

Endorsements & Policy Changes


  • Process policy endorsements and coverage updates.

  • Update lender or mortgagee information when refinancing or financing changes occur.

  • Handle changes to business operations, property details, or coverage requirements.

  • Ensure all policy modifications are documented accurately.

Risk Recommendations


  • Provide basic recommendations to help clients meet underwriting requirements.

  • Assist with recommendations related to property improvements and risk mitigation, such as:

    • fixing structural cracks,

    • securing AC brackets,

    • property maintenance updates,

    • safety compliance improvements.

  • Help ensure properties are insurable and ready for policy approval or renewal.

Administrative & System Support


  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.

  • Navigate AMS360 and related insurance systems efficiently.

  • Follow agency procedures and compliance standards.

  • Assist with general insurance administration and policy servicing.

Requirements

Essential


  • Previous US Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience.

  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance terminology.

  • Experience handling:

    • Certificates of Insurance (COIs),

    • endorsements,

    • policy servicing,

    • client support.

  • Experience working with AMS360 or similar insurance management systems.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

  • Comfortable working full-time US hours.

Preferred


  • Experience supporting US-based insurance agencies or brokerages.

  • Understanding of underwriting recommendations and compliance requirements.

  • Familiarity with commercial property insurance policies.

  • Experience with refinancing/lender updates within insurance policies.
