Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our team. MUST HAVE 3+ YEARS COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in various settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R, property maintenance, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Duties
• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot HVAC/R issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine system layout and installation requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with team members on design and build projects for new installations or upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all work activities.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns effectively.
Skills
• Proficient in HVAC/R systems installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
