Pay Range: $28-35/hour

** We are looking for a highly independent Service Technician with strong VFD experience to troubleshoot and support HVAC systems across the Miami and West Palm Beach area. **

The Field Service Technician supports HVAC equipment startups/warranty work and VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) service across Central and Southeast Florida. This role combines hands-on HVAC and electrical fieldwork with direct customer interaction. We provide full factory and field training to help you grow into an expert technician.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Perform startups, commissioning, and warranty service on DOAS and ventilation equipment.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform on-site repairs.
  • Support HVAC systems tied to Greenheck and ABB applications.
  • Document work performed, including written reports, electronic records, and service tickets.
  • Provide customer training, maintain strong relationships, and complete service reports.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain VFDs.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Work closely with customers and other team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
  • Technical or mechanical aptitude in HVAC, electrical, or VFD systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work safely with high-voltage equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel throughout Central and Southeast Florida (including occasional overnight travel)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Experience and Requirements: 
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • HVAC Certification preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
