Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration Technician

Palmer & Sicard is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team servicing commercial customers throughout the North Boston and Danvers, MA area. We are looking for a motivated technician with strong troubleshooting and repair experience across commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems who can work independently and provide high-quality service to our customers.

Compensation & Benefits

• $55–$60/hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Service and repair rooftop units (RTUs), boilers, chillers, and refrigeration equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Install, replace, and commission commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment as needed
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems
• Complete service documentation and work orders accurately
• Maintain a safe work environment while following company and OSHA safety standards
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members

Requirements

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Refrigeration License REQUIRED
• 5+ years of commercial HVAC & refrigeration experience REQUIRED
• Experience working with:
  • RTUs
  • Boilers
  • Chillers
  • Commercial refrigeration systems
• EPA Certification preferred
• Massachusetts Gas License is a PLUS, but not required
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
