Commercial HVAC InstallerLocation: Minster, OHPosition OverviewWe are seeking a proud, quality-focused Commercial HVAC Installer to lead commercial equipment replacements and mechanical system installations across our primary service area. System replacements represent 80% of our total business, meaning our reputation rests directly on the craftsmanship, cleanliness, and efficiency of our installation team.In this role, you will lead full commercial system change-outs (rooftop units, split systems, and commercial mechanical retrofits), take ownership of job site cleanliness and safety, and mentor installation assistants to help them work independently. We take immense pride in delivering superior installations—showing facility owners and commercial managers the extra steps we take that other companies skip—while ensuring 100% customer satisfaction on every job.Responsibilities and ExpectationsLead and perform complete commercial HVAC system replacements, rooftop unit (RTU) change-outs, equipment retrofits, and mechanical installations.Maintain exceptional quality control and eliminate callbacks by thoroughly re-checking all work using our Installation Excellence Form prior to leaving every job site.Protect commercial client facilities by using floor savers, protective coverings, and maintaining a clean, orderly workspace at all times.Walk facility managers and commercial clients through their new system upon completion, explaining operation, answering questions, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction.Complete all installation paperwork, job notes, and system documentation accurately and on time using CertainPath field service software.Drive and maintain a clean, professional, and well-organized company truck (our best mobile billboard), adhering to all safety and safe driving standards.Adhere strictly to company safety protocols, commercial job site rules, and our corporate Code of Ethics.RequirementsProven experience performing commercial HVAC system change-outs, rooftop equipment retrofits, and duct/refrigerant line set modifications.EPA Universal Certification required (OSHA certification is a plus).Exceptional eye for detail, pride in craftsmanship, and commitment to high-level customer service and job site protection.Strong safety awareness and a willingness to teach and develop helper/assistant installers.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR). The base compensation for this position is expected to range between $20.00 - $40.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law.
