Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: Greater Manchester

Our client is a leading facilities management company providing maintenance and support to a range of commercial properties in the healthcare, leisure, retail, and education sectors.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of domestic and commercial plant rooms, HVAC systems, underfloor heating, and more. You will also handle reactive call-outs and troubleshooting within a variety of commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and commission domestic and commercial plant rooms, heating, ventilation, and cooling systems (HVAC).
• Maintain and repair existing systems including underfloor heating and HVAC.
• Handle reactive maintenance and emergency call-outs within commercial properties.
• Ensure systems are operating efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Work closely with clients to address specific needs and deliver high-quality service.
• Collaborate with the team to support ongoing projects and upgrades.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ACS Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1).
• Experience in installation and maintenance of plant rooms, HVAC, and underfloor heating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for reactive call-outs.
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Full driving license.
