About this Position


What you´ll do

  • You will shape the business strategy, drive profitable growth, and enable superior business performance.
  • As a key member of Henkel’s Electronics SBU leadership team, you will provide strategic and financial insights, translate business priorities into actionable plans, and support informed decision-making to create sustainable value for customers, shareholders, and the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be instrumental in developing the Electronics business globally together with the leadership team, both organically and through M&A activities.
  • Drive and steer the financial management processes of the SBU, including strategic planning, annual operating planning, budgeting, performance management, and investment prioritization.
  • Translate business strategy into financial targets and actionable plans, ensuring alignment between growth ambitions and financial performance.
  • Capture business growth opportunities by generating financial and commercial insights, assessing portfolio and business performance, identifying gaps, and defining strategic and tactical measures.

  • Evaluate SBU strategies, innovation initiatives, projects, and investment plans; monitor business profitability; and assess risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate global financial reporting and provide regular forecasts, performance analyses, and decision-support insights to the leadership team.
  • Act as a sparring partner to the SBU Head on strategic, operational, financial, and organizational matters.
  • Optimize operating margins by creating transparency on profitability drivers, identifying improvement opportunities, and steering measures related to pricing, cost performance, customer portfolio management, and resource allocation.
  • Lead the APAC business planning team, including demand forecasting, scenario planning, and performance monitoring, driving process improvements across functions.
  • Drive inorganic growth initiatives and lead key strategic projects for the SBU.

What makes you a good fit

  • 10+ years of professional experience in commercial and/or finance leadership roles.
  • University degree, preferably with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to combine strategic thinking and financial rigor.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decision-making in a global organization.

  • Experience in strategic planning, financial planning, business performance management, and commercial analysis.

  • Experience leading cross-functional and international teams and projects.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience in M&A, portfolio management, or business development.

  • Fluent in English. Mandarin Chines is a plus.
  • Highly motivated, team-oriented individual with a strong ownership mindset and a "can-do" attitude.
