Commercial Finance Manger – Digital Finance

Objective of the Role
This role drives the digital enablement of Commercial Finance processes, acting as the bridge between Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Finance, ensuring that pricing, promotions, and rebate strategies are accurately reflected in financial results and margin reporting. The role is especially important during the SAP S/4HANA implementation, where strong business ownership of CCM processes is required to ensure accurate accruals, settlements, and timely financial close.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own processes for Commercial Finance/RGM in SAP S/4HANA

  • Translate business requirements into scalable system design and process standards

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process simplification, automation, and standardization

  • Act as design guardian for end-to-end RGM → CCM → Finance data flows and controls

  • Designing efficient E2E process, establishing KPIs to monitor, leveraging standard SAP

  • Support SAP S/HANA implementation

  • Support business adoption through training, documentation, and change management

  • Provide training and guidance to finance and commercial teams

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Finance Manager or similar role in FMCG, or consumer goods

  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA; strong knowledge of Condition Contract Management (CCM)

  • Solid understanding of rebates, trade terms, accruals, and commercial finance processes

  • Strong grasp of financial accounting (FI/CO) and P&L impacts

  • Track record in leading projects and delivering results under tight deadlines

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across finance, business, and IT

  • Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics; professional certification is a plus
