Join Australia's marketing leading Environmental Services Business Unit and a global leader in this critical finance leadership role. In this key strategic role, you will head up Commercial Finance for Veolia's QLD Environmental Services business. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you will manage all aspects of the commercial and reporting side of this important business unit, providing the analysis, insight and tools to drive a successful enterprise.
Your ability to talk to operational stakeholders, understand the drivers of their business and communicate your analysis and recommendations will be key to your success in this role. You will manage a team of analysts to ensure the transactional side of finance is of the highest quality, but it will be your keen commercial acumen that will be the key to your success.

Support and advise the management team on productivity improvements and value adding concepts.
Offer recommendations to boost revenue and reduce day to day expenditure.
Accountable for the costing and evaluation of tenders and projects in line with Investment Committee processes.
Contribute to / manage key processes in the preparation of profit, loss and KPI reports
Background in finance management within Waste Management, Transport, Logistics or similar organisations
Demonstrated experience in financial analysis/reporting within a commercial business partnering capacity
Demonstrated capacity to interrogate high transaction data for gap analysis and identification of business opportunities
Audit background highly desirable
Team management experience
Membership of relevant accounting industry association
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent
