As Commercial Finance Manager,you’llstep into a senior,hands-onrole with ownership of financial governance,insightand regulatory reporting across a £300m investment portfolio.
Working directly with senior leaders,you’llapply your technical and analyticalexpertiseto real commercial decisions — challenging assumptions,drivingefficienciesand seeing the direct impact of your work.You’llalso lead and develop a highperforming team, offering a clear transition from advisory into a role withlong-termownership, leadershipresponsibilityand career progression.
WhatYou’llBring
You’llbe a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working at scale, influencingdecisionsand making a tangible impact through insight and leadership.
A fully qualified accountant (CIMA,ACCAor ACA) with a strong commercial finance background and the confidence tooperateat senior levels.
Experience leading or managing teams in afast paced, commercially focused environment, with a passion for developing people and building highperforming teams.
Proven experience delivering highquality financial insight, including budgeting, forecasting, performanceanalysisand commercial challenge.
Strong analytical capability with the ability to cut through complexity, connect the dots and focus on what really matters.
Confidence working with large, interconnected data sets, translating complexity into clear, actionable recommendations for decisionmakers.
A decisive, resilient approach — able to prioritise, manage competing demands and deliver under pressure.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and challenge stakeholders across finance and the wider business.
Strong systems capability, comfortable using financial and reporting tools to drive insight,controland improvement.
A curious,forward-thinkingmindset — someone who challenges the status quo, looks for better ways of working and brings fresh thinking to complex problems.
It is great if you have experience in a regulated environment such as utilities,infrastructureor public sector — or a genuine interest in developing this experience.
