Job Description

Role Purpose

As a Commercial Finance Business Partner – Sales, you are a key driver of commercial performance and strategic growth — not a traditional finance function. You operate at the intersection of sales and finance, translating data into actionable commercial insights that directly influence decision-making, profitability, and market competitiveness.

You proactively challenge, support, and enable the sales organization to deliver sustainable growth by optimizing pricing, customer portfolios, investments, and resource allocation. Through forward-looking analysis and close collaboration with sales leadership, you ensure that commercial decisions are value-creating, strategically aligned, and performance-driven.

This role is about shaping the business — not reporting on it.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Commercial Performance

  • Analyse commercial trends, customer performance, product mix and profitability.
  • Identify risks, opportunities and patterns that help Sales take informed decisions.
  • Deliver clear recommendations to improve pricing, margins, investments and commercial strategies.
  • Translate complex data into simple, actionable storytelling for non‑financial stakeholders.

Be a true partner to Sales

  • Work closely with Sales to support both day‑to‑day decisions and long‑term plans.
  • Participate in commercial meetings as the financial voice of the team.
  • Challenge assumptions and drive fact-based, value-creating decisions.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain and other functions to ensure a holistic view of the business.

Commercial Performance Management

  • Lead commercial forecasting and business planning, ensuring ambitious yet realistic growth targets and strong margin delivery.
  • Drive performance transparency by translating deviations into clear commercial implications and corrective actions.
  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards focused on commercial performance.

Strategic Support

  • Support pricing, portfolio, and customer strategies with robust financial modeling.
  • Evaluate ROI of commercial investments and support strategic decision‑making.

Required Qualifications

Must have

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial Finance, Business Controlling, or Business Partnering roles with direct exposure to Sales and revenue-driving functions.
  • French and English speaking

  • Proven ability to influence commercial decisions and drive measurable impact on revenue growth and margin improvement.
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear commercial insights, strategic conclusions, and actionable recommendations.
  • Confidence in presenting to and influencing non‑financial stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and modelling skills ( Excel, Sales Force and BI tools).

Nice to have

  • Experience in retail or any sales‑driven environment.
  • Experience with Customer Bonus Management, including structuring, tracking, and evaluating rebate agreements to ensure transparency, profitability, and alignment with commercial objectives.
  • Hands-on collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Supply chain and other departments in our business unit
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI and Power Point).

Key Soft Skills

  • Strong commercial curiosity and drive to understand what truly creates value in the market.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
  • Ability to connect data → business impact → actions
  • Consultative mindset and stakeholder influencing skills
  • Strategic thinking and proactivity

Position can be based either in MADRID, in MATARO' (Barcelona) o in RASZYN (Poland)
