Group CFO

DNK-Randers, Danish Crown Vej

Commercial Finance Business Partner

Are you motivated by turning commercial insight into financial impact? And do you want a role where you both influence business decisions and help shape how commercial finance works in the future? This position offers a unique opportunity to combine commercial business partnering with building new ways of working as Danish Crown undergoes a large transformation.

You will join the Business Finance organisation supporting Danish Crown Foods, where the focus is to strengthen commercial performance, transparency, and decision quality across customers, categories, and channels.

At the same time, you will become part of a major transformation program in Danish Crown. The role will therefore evolve over time, and you will play a key role in shaping how commercial finance partners with the business going forward.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive impact on topline, margin and mix performance through data-driven insights
  • Translate commercial strategy into financial implications and actions
  • Support pricing, margin management and category performance analysis
  • Challenge assumptions and strengthen decision quality across commercial initiatives such as pricing, NPDs, trade investments and category initiatives.
  • Support the commercial planning cycle including forecasts and scenarios
  • Identify risks and opportunities and ensure early corrective actions creating impact
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and prior year and explain key drivers
  • Strengthen financial governance and standardization across commercial processes
  • Contribute to building the commercial finance setup as part of the ongoing transformation

Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone who wants to work close to the business and create impact – not just report numbers.

Experience in commercial finance or business partnering is important, but mindset matters more than years of experience. The right candidate is curious, ambitious, and motivated by building something new in an environment that will evolve over the coming years.

You likely bring:

  • A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or similar
  • 3+ years of experience with commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering
  • Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate data into insights and impact
  • Interest in pricing, margin management and commercial performance drivers
  • The ability to challenge stakeholders constructively and influence decisions
  • A structured and proactive working style
  • Experience with SAP, Power BI or similar tools is an advantage
  • Fluency in English (writing and oral) and Danish (working proficiency)

Most importantly, you are comfortable in a transformation environment where roles and processes are still being shaped.

About Danish Crown

The Danish Crown Group is a global food processing company and among the largest in its field. The Group is the world’s largest pork exporter and Europe’s largest pork processor. Furthermore, Danish Crown Beef is a significant player in the European beef market.

Just like the crops in the fields continuously change, Danish Crown tirelessly refine and improve how we work, from farm to fork, to ensure good, safe food for people around the world to enjoy. Our history goes back to 1887 and the Danish cooperative movement, and responsibility towards society, our employees and our owners, the farmers, is quite simply in our genes.

As a global leader in meat production, we have big obligations; not just to deliver, but to explore new opportunities. We still have a long way to go and face many challenges. But we remain committed to improving how food is produced - with respect for animals, people and the environment. In this quest, we are prepared to challenge ourselves, the industry and the market.

This journey is not ours alone, but we promise to be the leaders of change.

You will become a part of a strong culture with roots in the Danish co-operative movement, and at all levels of the organization, you will be met by an informal and direct tone.
