Role purpose
Own business planning, performance analysis and management reporting across EMEA. Provide clear financial insights and recommendations to improve sales, productivity and profitability, working closely with Retail Operations, Finance and Accounting.
· Own the sales and store wage target, budgeting and forecasting processes.
· Analyse store P&L performance, including sales, wages, costs, productivity and key operational KPIs.
· Identify risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions across markets.
· Monitor actual results against budget, forecast and business plan, explaining key variances.
· Own store wage control, analysis and reporting.
· Design and maintain processes for FTE planning and actual workforce cost monitoring.
· Prepare financial and business analysis for store openings, closures and relocations.
· Monitor opening and closure costs and explain variances against business plans and forecasts.
· Prepare budgets and business models for e-commerce and marketplace channels.
· Own the Productivity Report and other recurring performance reports.
· Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual performance analyses, including conclusions, recommendations and updated forecasts.
· Prepare quarterly Board reporting covering Retail, E-commerce, Marketing and Piercing.
· Respond to ad hoc analysis requests from management.
· Ensure accurate monthly cost tracking and preparation of financial summaries.
· Improve data quality, reporting controls and the accuracy of key business trackers.
· Develop and streamline reporting, forecasting and cost-management processes.
· Share controlling best practices and ensure compliance with Group standards.
· Work closely with Finance and Accounting to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data.
· Strong experience in business controlling, financial planning or performance management.
· Good understanding of P&L, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
· Advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools would be an advantage.
· Strong attention to detail and focus on data quality.
· Ability to manage multiple deadlines and recurring reporting cycles.
· Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
· Proactive, structured and solution-focused approach.
· Ability to work independently and cooperate with cross-functional and international teams.
· Fluent English.
· Experience in financial controlling and accounting would be an advantage.
· Experience in retail or a multi-country environment would be an advantage.
