Job Description

At Fresenius Medical Care, we are in search of a Commercial Finance and Analytics Manager who possesses excellent financial and analytical acumen coupled with the drive, energy, and, most importantly, a genuine passion to join a company who have a significant impact on the patients in our care.

Whilst having experience in a medical device, medical provider or other healthcare organisation would be advantageous, we actively encourage candidates from various backgrounds to apply to bring diverse perspectives to our team. Ideally, candidates will have some level of financial qualifications (e.g. CIMA, ACCA or ACA), but demonstratable experience is also acceptable. The role requires building complex financial models for multi-year public sector contracts as well as monitoring financial performance. It will therefore be of benefit to have experience in building financial analytic tools (e.g. using PowerBI).

This role reports to our Head of Business Development and will play a core role in our growth and profitability objectives. The desired personal skillset includes strong project management, prioritisation, presentation skills and excellent networking capabilities. You will promote a positive culture throughout the organisation and actively promote and progress the financial and modelling tools available. Part of your role will include working closely with the various departments that support our Care Delivery organisation, both in the UK and Ireland, and across the globe.

This is a hybrid, full-time role of 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday. You will be required to attend our Care Delivery Head Office when required and other travel both domestically and internationally may be required. A full UK drivers licence is required for this role.

What does the role involve?

You will:

  • Create and manage the UKI Pricing strategy for FME Renal Services
  • Support in the development of the UKI commercial strategy
  • Prepare complex financial models
  • Prepare full financial analysis of current business
  • Identification, planning and co-ordination of profit improvement projects, innovative cost saving solutions and revenue maximisation strategies.
  • To create digital tools
  • To create digital dashboards to allow tracking of contract finances against model
  • To create digital tools and reports to support the tracking, measuring and analysis of commercial KPIs
  • To prepare and present to UK board, EMEA leadership and Company Board, investment requirements for new bid proposals
  • Prepare financial schedules for NHS contracts.
