At Three Ireland, Finance plays a critical role in shaping commercial strategy and enabling business performance. As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will operate as a senior finance business partner, providing strategic financial leadership, commercial challenge and insight that influences investment decisions, drives profitability and supports the delivery of Three's commercial objectives.
You will take ownership of complex financial planning, modelling and performance analysis across key commercial portfolios, partnering with senior stakeholders to optimise business performance while ensuring robust financial governance.
· Act as the senior finance partner for Commercial leadership, providing strategic financial advice, challenge and insight to influence business direction and investment decisions.
· Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Retail and Finance, influencing decision-making through commercial expertise and evidence-based recommendations.
· Lead financial evaluation of strategic initiatives, pricing propositions, commercial investments and business cases, ensuring decisions maximise long-term value.
· Provide independent financial challenge, identifying commercial risks, opportunities and recommendations to improve business performance.
· Lead the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes across assigned commercial portfolios, ensuring financial plans align with strategic priorities.
· Develop sophisticated financial models, scenario analysis and forecasting methodologies to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
· Deliver insightful financial analysis and performance reporting, identifying emerging trends and providing recommendations that drive commercial outcomes.
· Translate complex financial information into clear, commercially focused insights for senior leadership.
· Own Finance governance across assigned commercial areas, ensuring strong financial control, compliance and accurate Group reporting.
· Lead month-end financial reviews, executive reporting and Group submissions, ensuring financial performance is clearly understood and appropriately challenged.
· Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, reporting and planning capabilities that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
· Champion best practice across commercial finance, promoting consistency, governance and continuous improvement.
· Part Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant.
· Significant experience within commercial finance, financial planning or business partnering.
· Advanced financial modelling, forecasting and analytical expertise.
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with Oracle, Hyperion or equivalent planning systems experience.
· Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders through commercial insight, financial expertise and constructive challenge.
· Strong strategic thinking with the ability to balance commercial opportunity, financial risk and operational priorities.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex financial information into meaningful business recommendations.
· Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver improvements that enhance commercial performance.
· Highly proactive, resilient and comfortable operating independently within a fast-paced, evolving environment.
· Passionate about continuous improvement, challenging existing ways of working and driving better business outcomes.
