Opportunity
We’re looking for a Commercial Executive to join our Travel Money Team at Tesco Insurance and Money Services.
Tesco Travel Money is one of the UK’s largest travel money providers, offering customers a convenient and competitive proposition across 330 in-store bureaux, alongside a wide network of click & collect locations and home delivery. We work closely with our third-party provider Travelex to deliver a seamless customer experience across all channels.

You’ll gain insight into how we drive commercial performance, manage operational delivery and risk, and improve customer outcomes, all while working with a collaborative and supportive team.
The Role
•Supporting the Commercial Manager with the planning, execution and delivery of operational excellence.
•Analysing performance data, identifying trends and opportunities to improve future activity and customer outcomes.
•Tracking and collating customer insights and operational metrics and driving continuous improvement.
•Supporting the day-to-day operation of the Travel Money network, acting as a key liaison for Travelex and Tesco Stores.
•Managing elements of the click & collect service, including issue resolution, store communications and enhancing performance.
•Engaging with key internal teams and third-party partners to align activity, share insights and support performance delivery.
•Supporting proposition development, commercial planning and business case creation
•Facilitating project communications in line with Tesco processes and capacity planning
•Supporting governance activities, including preparation of meeting packs, actions and minutes
•Monitoring performance, identifying risks and supporting corrective actions to ensure service and compliance standards are met.
•Supporting the management of supplier performance, ensuring MI and reporting is reviewed and actions progressed.
•Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across customer experience, operations and commercial performance.
•Supporting cost control and ensuring adherence to agreed processes and ways of working
We need you to have (essential criteria)
•Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and third-party partners.
•Proven analytical and numerical skills, and experience interpreting data, identifying trends and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
•Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
•A proactive mindset with a desire to drive change and continuous improvement
•Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outputs
•Confidence preparing reports and presentations (Word / PowerPoint)
•Commercial awareness, with the ability to support decision-making and evaluate opportunities
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emerging priorities
•Sound judgement, knowing when to take ownership and when to escalate
•Understanding of operational processes, performance monitoring and risk considerations
