
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialist to lead commercial initiatives and oversee our Customer Intelligence (CIM) systems and provide commercial support. This role involves analyzing customer data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to enhance customer engagement and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with CIM systems, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Manage and maintain the CIM system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
· Key contributor in developing 5 Year Plan.
· Analyze customer data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
· Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer engagement and retention.
· Collaborate with Sales team to support commercial initiatives.
· Create and present reports and dashboards to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and insights.
· Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategies.
· Provide training and support to CIM users across the organization.
· Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of CIM initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.
Strategic Initiatives:
· Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of commercial projects.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with commercial objectives.
· Identify opportunities for business growth and process improvements.
· Develop and present commercial initiatives and progress reports to senior management.
CIM Oversight:
· Oversee the implementation and maintenance of CIM systems.
· Ensure CIM data integrity and accuracy.
· Analyze customer data to identify trends and insights for improving customer engagement.
· Train and support staff on CIM best practices and usage.
Commercial Support as needed:
· Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and new automotive accounts, fostering strong relationships and ensuring customer needs are met.
· Lead the preparation and submission of quotations, manage pricing files, and ensure alignment with customer expectations and internal profitability goals.
· Review production contracts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper documentation and record retention.
· Oversee customer prototype orders, including engineering design and development, invoicing, and delivery tracking.
· Contribute to sales forecasts, acquisition plans, and reporting activities such as strategic account reviews and board-level presentations.
· Utilize customer engineering change control systems to access and manage engineering change orders.
· Coordinate order processing and monitor delivery status to ensure timely fulfillment.
· Support recovery of past due balances through proactive communication and collaboration with finance teams.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, and operations to support customer programs and internal initiatives.
· Prepare materials for customer and internal meetings, lead discussions, and follow up on action items.
· Maintain accurate customer records in systems such as AS400 and Future III, including shipping information and pricing.

QUALIFICATIONS
· Proficiency in CIM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data analysis tools.
· Proven experience in strategic project management and CIM oversight.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skill and ability to work independently.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Leadership experience with a track record of motivating high-performing teams.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with SQL, Python, or other data analysis languages.
· Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
· Understanding of customer segmentation and targeting strategies.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field (MBA Preferred).
· 5+ years of experience in a CIM role or similar role.
