Job Description

The role will provide support to the General Manager in the roll out of the Commercial strategy in FraBeLux in alignment with the EMEA commercial strategy. Lead and develop the Commercial Excellence strategy to ensure the WINNING trajectory of the affiliate.

Responsabilities:

  • Collaborate closely with EMEA Commercial Excellence and local teams (Sales and Marketing) to ensure alignment and flawless execution of the strategy.
  • Develop and drive Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) initiatives, ensuring adoption across France and Belgium.
  • Oversee the FraBeLux Commercial Excellence process, ensuring timely delivery of modules and achievement of project objectives.
  • Design and implement innovative business solutions to maximize customer access to Abbott’s CRM portfolio.
  • Provide reporting and analysis on all aspects of sales operations, leveraging market insights to influence area commercial strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to improve operational excellence and productivity.
  • Work with Marketing and Area Sales Managers to align support functions and internal systems with CRM activities, including:
    • Sales Force strategy implementation and readiness.
    • Training needs assessment and KPI-based evaluation processes.
    • Initiatives to improve efficiency, sales productivity, and customer value.
  • Define and implement a local pricing strategy that:
    • Define the most profitable Mix of products at the right Price
    • Establishes clear pricing policies and RFA for customer clusters.
    • Enhances agility and consistency in commercial decision-making
  • Define and drive the Key Accounts / Grand Compte strategy, ensuring:
    - Strong, long-term partnerships with strategic customers across the FraBeLux region
    - Alignment of commercial priorities and account plans with regional and EMEA strategies
    - Cross-functional coordination to deliver tailored solutions for key customers
    - Consistent execution and follow-up of national and regional account plans
    - Active contribution to high-level customer negotiations and strategic discussions.

Knowledge & Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of the cardiovascular device industry and market trends.
  • Strong understanding of cardiac products and therapies.
  • Expertise in business and project planning.
  • Advanced analytical and creative skills, including statistical process control and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven know-how in Commercial Excellence areas (operations, performance management, KPI control, quality & training, SFE, compensation programs).
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking, with a track record of leveraging market insights to shape commercial and marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluency in French and English required.

Educational & Experience requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Proven track record in sales/marketing management in dynamic environments.
  • Previous sales management experience in France or Belgium.
  • 5+ years in a managerial role with international scope in global organizations.
