Commercial Editorial Manager

About the role
We’re looking for a dynamic, commercially minded editor to join Metro’s Commercial team on part-time, maternity leave cover. This role acts as an essential bridge between editorial and commercial functions. You will identify revenue opportunities, shape cross‑platform partnerships, manage high‑value client integrations, and develop innovative commercial solutions across Metro’s print, digital and emerging formats.
This is a fast‑paced, highly collaborative role requiring exceptional editorial judgement and collaboration, strong commercial instinct, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders with confidence and diplomacy.

A proactive, creative and solutions‑driven editor who thrives in a multifunctional environment, enjoys collaboration, and can move quickly without sacrificing quality. The ideal candidate will be as comfortable in editorial conferences as they are in commercial strategy meetings, and able to translate opportunities between both worlds seamlessly.
