Under general supervision, the CDL Examiner (Third-Party Tester) administers and evaluates Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) skills tests in strict compliance with federal and state DOT regulations. Supports IRSC’s mission by ensuring fair, accurate assessments that promote workforce development and public safety. Responsibilities include conducting pre-trip inspections, basic control skills tests, and road tests; maintaining secure records; and collaborating with instructional staff on scheduling and reporting.
