EnviroScience, Inc. is seeking a Dive Supervisor to support its expanding marine services division. The role involves conducting and managing field efforts for diving inspections, light construction, and freshwater mussel surveys. This position includes regular travel, weekend work, long hours, and some tasks will require strenuous fieldwork and work during inclement weather.
This position is planned as a part-time position but full-time may be considered for well-qualified candidates. This role is based in Stow, Ohio, with compensation based on pre-determined scale rates.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Diving Operations
Conduct and manage safe and efficient diving tasks, primarily in rivers with limited visibility. Responsibilities include overseeing biological inspections and general commercial diving maintenance and inspection tasks.
Provide topside support for diving operations, including tending, setup/breakdown of equipment, and daily maintenance/housekeeping.
Equipment Maintenance
Ensure diving equipment is well-maintained and prepared for operations, including routine checks and necessary repairs.
Project Support
Assist in light construction projects and freshwater mussel surveys as part of broader marine services operations.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Current ADCI Air Supervisor Certification Card
Diploma from an accredited ADCI dive program
3+ years of diving experience
Valid diving physical (fit to dive)
Valid CPR/First Aid card
Valid 02 provider card
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications:
40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER
Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors.
Ability to work independently and manage a team of divers.
Experience with boat operations and trailering.
Desired Skills:
A strong commitment to safety in all diving and field operations.
Ability to work effectively within a team of experienced dive supervisors and commercial divers.
Proficiency in maintaining and managing diving equipment and work boats.
Capacity to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

Working Conditions:
Regular travel primarily during the summer and fall months (May-October) with routine extended deployments.
Be prepared for long hours, weekend work, and strenuous fieldwork in various weather conditions.
Supervisor Responsibilities: Supervisor Commercial Diver field activities
Physical Requirements: Some tasks will require strenuous fieldwork and work during inclement weather. The ability to lift 50lb+, work on water conditions, Standing, sitting and manual labor.
Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel extensively during the summer and fall, with routine extended deployments.
