
Commercial Development Manager WE PH
Minimum required Education:
Master's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Economics or equivalent.
Minimum required Experience:
Minimum 7 years of experience with Master's in areas such as Sales Operations, Sales Excellence, Sales Management or equivalent.
Your Challenge:
The Commercial Development Manager drives commercial strategy andgo-to-market transformation for Philips Western Europe by shaping channel strategies, improving sales effectiveness, and embedding retailer and shopper insights into decision-making. It leadskeygrowth and transformation initiatives across channels—particularly Food and Drug—while acting as a trusted advisor to market leadership teams on sales execution, capability building, and commercial excellence. The role is also critical in securing Philips’ mid- and long-term commercial success in Western Europe by strengthening customer partnerships, driving sustainable channel growth, and ensuring the organization is equipped to win in an evolving retail landscape.
Your role
Top customer collaboration:Drive top customer satisfaction by leading customer NPS survey for Western Europe incl. improvement plan, keyenablersand implementation
Food / Drug transformation:Drive Food/Drug channel transformation to enable explosive growth in these channels through delivery of key enablers
Commercial Strategy:Develop commercial / channel strategy for PH WE in collaboration with Region Commercial Leader and Commercial Development Leader. Ensure outside-in view from Retailers and Shoppers into the strategy creation
Sales capability framework:Increases sales capability and productivity and drives behavioral change by focusing on advanced sales processes, methodologies, and best practices and by driving funnel health,optimizingsales efficiency, and improving overall sales effectiveness within the market
Consultancy:Acts as a trusted advisor to market management teams, driving commercial transformation and sales execution efforts and supporting the design and execution of complex sales strategies to ensure the achievement of agreed key performance indicators (KPIs)
Continuous improvement:Leadsmedium scalesales improvement projects, supporting strategy and deployment in line with the management team’s top performance priorities and in line with outcomes of market research
Drive commercial forums:Supports onkey forums to drive commercial excellence: Quarterly Top customer reviews, Sales Board and Channel Champion.
You'rethe right fit if:
Proventrack recordin commercial environmentlike:sales, channel management, or comparable role(s) with minimum 7 years working experience
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute decisive actions
Proficient in delivering and overseeing projects
Strong proof of informal leadership
Enthusiastic about making a meaningful impact
Exceptional skills in managing stakeholders, adept at indirect influence, and collaborative cross-functional projects
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
