ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Commercial Data Operations Lead (Senior Manager) is a hands-on execution role responsible for bringing together the foundational components of the data ecosystems across CEE GTM products and platforms, in order to provide capabilities that improve the quality and fidelity of data consumed by business processes and analytics use cases.

For initiatives, products, platforms under purview of CEE:

  • Supports a commercial data community across DD&T teams: CEE, IBU, USBU, OBU and AI/D org

  • Enables domain specific data/ AI models across CEE platforms (CX, digital health, medical, content, patient services etc.) to ensure data architecture and AI capabilities across commercial/GTM are following Takeda guardrails and standards

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

For CEE capabilities and cross -commercial data orchestration:

Data Architecture:

  • Provides guidance within technical disciplines, responding to disruptive analytical technologies and solving unique and complex problems.

  • Develops, implements and manages enterprise business and technical metadata, including data dictionaries, data lineage and all associated metadata initiatives, together with enterprise, solution, and platform architects

  • Manages and approves the list of Critical Data Elements (CDEs) including providing domains with guidelines and support for prioritizing CDEs.

  • Identifies the data assets that are deemed significant to the enterprise, as determined by the business impact, decision impact, risk mitigation or organizational impact of the information.

  • Establishes, monitors and enforces business processes and standards for metadata management and compliance.

  • Provides template for structuring business metadata (e.g., business definitions, security/access levels, data quality rules) and technical metadata (e.g., technical/physical data elements, data lineage).

  • Approve changes to metadata and definitions of data and data lineage developed by domains.

  • Develops, implements and manages data dictionaries as appropriate

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as a connector across and partner with Takeda’s existing enterprise capabilities product/platform teams to ensure synergy and alignment with broader organizational goals.

  • Build effective communication channels with teams, external partners, and stakeholders and communicate with key stakeholders on status, risks, and accomplishments to ensure the successful delivery
