Overview

Commercial credit professional focused on the day-to-day operations of the Bank’s credit processes and administration. The successful candidate will be a versatile contributor with duties that support both the Head of Credit Administration and Commercial Credit as a whole.

Key responsibilities include maintaining data, system, and reporting completion, accuracy, and efficiency. The role also involves daily data input into the Annual Review database, which drives monthly reporting for portfolio management, risk dashboards, and incentive programs.

The Project Manager contributes to system testing within Moody’s CreditLens (and/or other commercial lending systems) by developing and executing test cases to validate functionality. They also provide frontline support for business process and technical inquiries via the Credit Administration Technology helpline.

Additional duties include evaluating and enhancing credit risk policies and procedures, participating in various commercial lending sub-projects, and supporting database usage for reporting and portfolio monitoring. The role also supports acquisition and conversion activities, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with Credit Administration standards.

  • Provide primary support for Commercial Lending data analysis, reporting, and system support.
  • Complete daily data input into the Annual Review database to produce monthly reporting that impacts ongoing portfolio management, risk dashboards, and Portfolio Manager incentives.
  • Contribute to commercial lending system testing though test case creation and execution to evaluate pre/post-production functionality.
  • Assist in resolving business processes and technical questions surfaced through the Credit Administration Technology helpline.
  • Support the evaluation of existing credit risk policies and procedures for opportunities to make the process more efficient.
  • Contribute to sub-projects and working groups in an agile development environment that take an idea from conceptual design to functional roll-out.
  • Support Credit Administration in the use of credit software and databases with respect to reporting and portfolio monitoring. Oversee the design and administration of top-of-the-house credit reporting and act as the business-side representative for various ad-hoc reporting assignments/requests.
  • Assist in providing Credit Administration support and guidance for acquisition and conversion related activities.
  • Compliance Training: Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.

Requirements For Success

  • Education: College degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 3-5 years of banking or financial services experience, 2-3 years supporting commercial lending, credit administration, loan operations, reporting or business systems.
  • Required Skills:
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments while meeting established deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend practical solutions.
  • Ability to participate in system testing efforts, including documenting, executing, and validating test cases.
  • Ability to support business users by researching and resolving operational and system-related issues.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across multiple departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and reporting applications used for data analysis and business reporting.

Working Environment and Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, and printers.

Physical requirements: sedentary, climbing, standing, stooping, or typing

Position requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

This position requires up to 10% travel.

Pay Range

USD $49,972.00 - USD $76,958.00 /Yr.
