Commercial Cooking Equipment Service Technician (HOT SIDE ONLY)   Locations: Greater western upstate New York area Pay Range: $25.00-$40.00 Full-Time  3Wire Service is seeking a skilled and professional Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician who specializes in Hot Side repairs to join our team in Plattsburgh, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial cooking equipment at customer locations, including restaurants, hotels & institutions. Our technicians also perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) inspections and respond to emergency service calls. If you have experience in servicing hot side kitchen equipment, we'd love to have you on the team!  Essential Responsibilities 

• Install, Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and repair Hot Side Commercial Cooking Equipment
• Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy and professionalism
• Promptly complete service calls
• Communicate effectively with customers, managers, dispatchers, and sales
• Participate in a normal rotation of after-hours and weekend on-call schedule
• Identify new customers and additional opportunities within existing accounts
• Maintain Service Vehicle
• Order Parts and Complete Required Paperwork
• Attend Training Sessions
• Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications 

• Experience working on Hot Side Cooking Equipment i.e., Ovens, Combi-ovens, Fryers, Microwaves, etc. 
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills
• Extremely strong customer communication skills
• 100% dedication to working hard, being on time, and staying organized
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
• Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standard.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with: Prep tables, Fryers, Ovens, Steamers, Ranges, Broilers, Ware Wash, etc.

• CFESA certification and related Training
• At least four years of experience repairing gas, electrical, and steam equipment. 
• Tech Savvy
