About the role


We are thrilled to announce that we are looking for a dedicated Commercial & Contracts Lead – Supply Chain to join our team. In this role, you will lead a team committed to meeting customer supply needs safely, reliably, and efficiently across the Australia & Pacific supply chain

You’ll collaborate closely with carriers, procurement, planning, manufacturing, business management, and commercial teams, all while focusing on operational excellence and commercial discipline. Our goal is to become the trusted partner of choice for our customers.

What you will be doing

  • Lead commercial and contract management across the Australia & Pacific supply chain, with full accountability for contractor performance and outcomes.
  • Own end‑to‑end carrier and contractor relationships, driving contract compliance, cost control, KPI performance, and risk management.
  • Lead contractor governance and commercial forums, strengthening accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage logistics‑related spend and cash flow end‑to‑end, ensuring strong financial discipline, visibility, and value delivery.
  • Identify and deliver opportunities to optimise cost, service, safety, and customer outcomes in line with Supply Chain and Business strategy.
  • Own and improve logistics systems, contracts, and data (e.g. SAP, reporting), enabling efficient processes and clear, decision‑ready insight.
  • Partner closely with procurement, planning, manufacturing, logistics, commercial, and regional teams to ensure aligned decisions and reliable execution.

What you will bring

  • Extensive end‑to‑end supply chain experience, with 5+ years across manufacturing, logistics, blasting, and customer delivery.
  • Proven people leader with 3+ years’ experience leading teams and influencing across complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
  • Strong commercial and contract management capability, with a track record of managing supplier performance and commercial outcomes.
  • Solid understanding of operational supply chain networks, with the ability to link commercial decisions to operational impact.
  • Well‑developed business and financial acumen, consistently driving value, cost discipline, and performance against targets.
  • Highly effective negotiator and communicator, comfortable influencing both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Confident working with SAP or similar enterprise systems, supported by strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
