Salary: £25,842 to £26,186 per annum

British Antarctic Survey (BAS) are looking for a commercial cleaner to support the Cambridge based BAS Estates team. The role involves developing superb working relationships with various stakeholders including internal staff and visitors. This post offers flexible working (Mon-Fri). This role is not suitable for hybrid working.
Purpose:
Duties:
Conduct cyclical deep cleans as delegated by the Cleaning Supervisor
Comply with all necessary Health and Safety guidance
Ensure PPE and issued clothing is correctly worn when conducting cleaning duties at BAS
Ensure that stock request forms are produced as required
Use a computer for the booking of holidays and carry duties as required through the electronic management system.
Provide cover for sickness & holiday
Ensure that the areas allocated are kept to a very high standard of cleanliness and the scientific and administrative staff are able to work in a clean and safe environment.
