Kemper has an immediate opening for a Commercial Casualty Adjuster - Unrepresented In this position, you will be responsible for building rapport with customers. You handle claims involving unrepresented injured claimants, from start to finish. We are offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment while you advance your career!
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of two years of claims handling experience.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite products and webbased applications.
• Must obtain and maintain state licensing, where applicable.
• Initiative, sound judgement, and discretion.
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS:
• Comprehensive understanding of insurance policies and knowledge of relevant state laws and regulations governing auto insurance claims.
• Time management skills ensuring deadlines are met for claim resolution.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate claim information.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with various stakeholders.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills are crucial for resolving disputes and reaching agreements.
