Commercial & Business Insights Executive

Mission Statement

Spearheading commercial finance & Business Insights, working closely with department manager, Marketing, RGM & Finance Director, Supply chain this position is responsible for managing brand / SKU P&L, investment plans & providing decision making support for volume, revenue, portfolio expansation and providing standardised reporting to all finance functions.

The Job holder works collaboratively with CCI PK Marketing, RGM & finnance leadership team and GO Finance.

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Marketing LT & Supply chain LT, providing support in preparation of Annual Business Plan and Rolling estimate from a brand / SKU and supply chain controlled overheads.
• Managing Brand / SKU P&L; Custodian of system financial data-base by brands & packs. Develop management dashboards that report on the performance of the Brand / SKU profitability to drive decision making at all level.
• Assist department manager & Finance director in rationalization of loss making SKUs and suggesting measure to improve profitability
• Teams ups with TCCEC and CCI PK ELT to provide support in profitable expansion of product and package portfolio by preparing business case [ value chain analysis]. Ensure NPDs [new product development] and existing pack development are in line with strategic guidance.
• Participate and Lead in projects with the aim to optimize CCI PK portfolio [reformulation / extension etc], provide decision making support on key drivers impacting profitability. Performing scenario modelling to allow the marketing to weigh up alternative strategies / tactics [pricing / promotions]
• Business Partnering with RGM & aiding the delivery of key ad hoc RGM projects [pricings/ promotions] through proactively developing robust business cases and insights.
• Scans competition moves, profiles risks and opportunities in business environment and facilitates other functions in understanding the financial implications of the decisions . Runs competitive value chains, shadow costing of their products and perform industry bench marking.
• Assist department manager & Finance director in devising CCI PK investment strategy and allocation of funds to support organization's expansion.
• Lead & review business case for new investments [Growth / maintenance] while ensuring that return metrics are aligned with strategic guidance. Facilitating investment committee during approval process by providing financial insights.
• Performs proper analysis on the DME expenditure and approval of key activities
• Approving monthly NSR Promotions to ensure compliance with BP and market conditions
• Reviewing variance analysis v/s previous period & budget for brands, SKU profitability & SC overheads .Providing insights & recommendation to improve profitability metrices & reduce costs.
• Lead, review & ensure the timely submission of financial deliverables to GO & CCI PK LT [SKU RE profitability / CCI Manufacturing & WH report Actual Reporting/ Power BI Reporting]. Supporting the Territory SKU profitability process by providing necessary corproate input.

Candidate Education

Bachelor's Degree - Accounting, Finance or relevant field; Professional Certification [ACA, ACCA, CFA, CIMA/ACMA] is a plus

Mininum Total Experience: 6-8 years

Minimum Functional Experience: 4-6 years

Trainings and Certificates: Professional Accounting / Finance Qualification : ACA, ACCA,CFA, CMA, CPA, SMMM, CIMA/ACMA etc.
