ABOUT THE JOB
The Marketing Business Analyst acts as a strategic finance controller partner to the Marketing team, ensuring that brand plans and commercial initiatives are grounded in strong financial insight. You will oversee the planning and tracking of marketing investments and provide clear, timely analysis that helps Marketing make confident, future‑focused decisions. This role blends financial discipline with commercial understanding and requires close collaboration with brand leaders to support impactful and responsible growth.

Provide rigorous financial stewardship for Marketing by aligning brand plans with clear investment cases, reliable forecasts, and measurable outcomes. You own the integrity of marketing spend and performance reporting, turning data into sharp, decision‑ready insights that support portfolio priorities, protect profitability, and enable confident, future‑focused execution.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with Marketing teams to ensure accurate planning, forecasting, and phasing of all marketing investments.
Lead budgeting and performance tracking for ATL, BTL, digital, and activation spend with strong financial governance.
Provide clear, insight‑driven analysis on brand, channel, and SKU performance to support strategic decision‑making.
Deliver monthly marketing investment reports, highlight variances, and recommend actions to protect profitability.
Manage accruals, validate postings, and ensure timely, accurate month‑end close for all marketing‑related accounts.
Conduct account reconciliations and uphold high standards of financial compliance and audit readiness.
Lead SKU profitability insights and support financial assessments for new product introductions and commercial proposals.
Drive required revenue submissions and performance datasets to support commercial planning cycles.
Identify cost optimization opportunities and support continuous improvement across Marketing and Commercial finance processes.
Provide day‑to‑day financial advisory to Marketing leaders and respond to ad‑hoc analytical needs.
CANDIDATE CRITERIA
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial finance, marketing finance, FP&A, or business analysis and preferably in FMCG.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate numbers into actionable insights.
High proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Power BI, with solid financial hygiene (accruals, reconciliation, postings).
Demonstrated business partnering capability with Commercial Team (Marketing/Sales stakeholders).
Fluent in English, spoken and written.
